We are driven by acommon purpose to make a positive impact for each other, our communities,and the environment.Job SummaryWe are a precision machining facility with over 45 years of operatingexpertise in manufacturing and concept producibility and engineering support.We specialize in aerospace products, turbine engine components, rapidprototyping, and industrial pumps, but our capabilities are applicable toany industry that requires precision machined parts. The machinist positionwill set up and operate various CNC machine tools including multi-axis millsor lathes.We are seeking a Machinist for 2nd shift. The 2nd shift schedule offers anadditional 10% pay premium plus a 4-day work week (Monday through Thursdayfrom 3:00 pm to 1:30 am).

  Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesOperate a variety of CNC Mills and/or Lathes.Work from blueprints, engineering drawings, and verbal instructions tofabricate a variety of machined components.Assemble cutting tools.Manipulate controls/enter commands to set tool offsets and work positions.Make shop calculations to determine tooling feeds and speeds.Inspect parts using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, dialindicators, and calipers.Maintain 6S requirements in the work area.Completeall job-related paperwork, accurately, per requirements.Always follow prescribed work rules and standard safety regulations.Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others.Coordinate with supervisor and other team members to meet production scheduledemands.Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

  Education & Experience RequirementsHigh School/GED or equivalent.2 years experience as a machinist.Mazak Mill or Intagrex or other multi-axis machining experience preferred.Basic computer and data entry skillsManual machining experience a plusAble to read job instructions and blueprintsIntermediate shop math skillsStrong attention to detailGood communication skills (verbal and written)Physical Requirements/Work EnvironmentPhysical ability to operate machines. Must be able to bend, stretch,squat, and climb to access all parts of the machine.Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and stretching.Must be able to lift 35 pounds at a time.Must be able to work in noisy environments (at times).This position requires the use of information subject to compliance with theInternational Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). To conform to U.S.Government export regulations/ITAR, the applicant must be a U.S.citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual asdefined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the requiredauthorizations from the U.S. Department of State.The anticipated hourly pay range for this role is $20.00 to $25.00.Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offeredrate include qualifications and experience, education (if requirementnoted above), geographic location, external market data, andconsideration of internal equity.

  As part of the total rewards package, this position is eligible for ashort-term incentive based on performance. In addition, We offerbenefits to enhance your health, wealth and resilient self.   The hourly pay range for this role is $18.61 - $33.50.
