VCA Appalachian Animal Hospital​ is hiring a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team in the beautiful north Georgia mountains!

We are a 4-doctor small animal practice located in East Ellijay, GA, offering primary care, surgery, and dentistry services as well as boarding and grooming. We are open Monday through Friday 7:30am - 6pm, Saturdays 8am - 4pm, closed Sundays.

About the Role

As Veterinary Technician, we want you to use your skills and knowledge to the fullest while continuing to learn and grow. Duties will include:

Compassionate patient care

Client education and communication

Blood draws, injections, fluids administration

IV catheter placement

Laboratory sample collection and diagnostic testing

Anesthesia and surgery assisting

Radiology

Dentistry

Pharmacy

Medical recordkeeping
