Description

This position will be working onsite as well as traveling to see patients in Napa County.

The Lead Social Worker LMSW provides leadership within the assigned department. Ensures that clinical standards and regulatory requirements are met, promotes service excellence and effective and efficient use of personnel and material resources, and positively represents the service internally within the organization and externally in the community. Ensures that services are maintained in accordance with the mission, goals and objectives, policies and procedures of the Providence health system and the department. Clinical responsibilities are commensurate with Lead responsibilities.

Required qualifications:

Master's Degree in Social Work; from an Accredited School of Social Work.

Driving is a necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information.

3 years of relevant Social Work experience. May include post MSW experience.

Preferred qualifications:

About the Team

Providence Home and Community Care (HCC) is a service line within Providence with over 8,000 caregivers and 2,000 volunteers serving nearly 200,000 people a year, in their homes, in clinics and in a variety of congregate living ministries across our seven-state footprint.

HCC provides a full range of services and support for people of all ages, especially those facing chronic or life-limiting illnesses. Our core competencies include restorative care, longitudinal care and care through the end of life.
