Lead Manufacturing Controls Engineer

Responsibilities:
Act as a subject matter expert to address functional challenges related to high voltage, low voltagesystems, and hydraulic systems in a fast-paced production manufacturing environment.
Manage Engineering Technicians daily activities and performance, ensuring adherence to metricsand standards.
Assist in technical training for team members, ensure tactical resources cover all plannedproduction shifts, and provide day-to-day guidance to maximize effectiveness and minimize line
downtime.
Analyze manufacturing systems/processes and present data outcomes to leadership withrecommendations for achievable systems and process improvement.
Serve as the primary point of contact for production related to troubleshooting to optimizeprocess quality using lean manufacturing methodologies.
Escalate troubleshooting issues to appropriate support departments and effectively communicatecurrent status and expected timeline for resolution.
Offer technical guidance to Manufacturing Engineering and Operations teams, to include systemdesign, troubleshooting, and process control optimization.
Complete assigned projects to meet strategic business objectives by creating KPIs and assistingin the identification of measurement system needs, resource requirements, and expected
outcomes of projects while ensuring the Mfg Eng Tech team achieves milestones and meets
deadlines.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required; Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree preferred
Years of Experience: 5 or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Software Knowledge: Microsoft Office Suite, CAD (NX or SolidWorks)/SAP/MES, Team Center experience required
Project management, informal leadership experience preferred.
Ability to read and understand technical, electrical, control schematics, and PID (Process Instrumentation)
drawings required
