We are seeking a People operations Lead with 5-8 years of experience to join our team at the News Corporation Bangalore location. As a People operations Lead, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive support for the seamless functioning of our Workday systems and processes globally.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the HRIS support team, ensuring efficient and effective support for HR operations
Accountable for HRIS team delivery and presenting analysis on the Service Now tickets received, resolved and the team’s effort across various metrics to the management
Provide Workday techno functional leadership to the support team
Take charge of support tickets, overseeing their resolution and leading the team in providing timely solutions.
Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis of support processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Actively engage with stakeholders, managing relationships to ensure smooth collaboration and communication.
Regularly review monthly support ticket trends, devising strategies to reduce overall support volume.
Develop and implement plans to address identified areas for improvement and optimize support operations.
Collaborate with regional HR and Technology support teams and provide operational leadership and governance to day-to-day support
Identify opportunities for enhancements and assist in change management efforts on new implementations in Workday via the monthly releases
Follow SDLC process while working on projects and monthly release cycles
Consult with business and process owners to understand the business case for development requests and new implementations in Workday via the monthly releases
Consult with technical product owners to handle any escalations in respective Workday modules as needed
Own and maintain internal control for SOX Compliance
Knowledge of Agile methodologies
Skills Requirements:
10+ years of experience with HRIS and 5+ years as leader of HRIS
5+ years of experience as a Workday support team lead
Should have Functional or Techno-Functional Workday experience in at least 3 of the following modules: Recruiting, Onboarding, Benefits, Payroll, Absence Management, Time Tracking, Performance Management, Dashboards, Mobile and/or Advanced Compensation
Deep knowledge of Workday's Business Process Framework and Security
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical issues and solutions to non-technical stakeholders
Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold high ethical standards
Proficiency in process re-engineering, problem-solving, and root cause analysis
Must be self-motivated, a rapid learner, and have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Must be able to manage multiple priorities and complex tasks in a dynamic work environment
