About Lead HMI Systems Engineer - L2++

  Job Description

  Key Responsibilities:

  Full ownership of the HMI system development and roll-out plan for AD/ADAS.

  Lead the end-to-end development of HMI system providing the following (and not limited to) deliverables: Requirements, system design, system behavioral diagrams, system models, FMEA, use cases, etc.

  Provide regular key updates to the leadership to ensure synchronization and smooth flow of information.

  Lead other system engineers by providing direction in all aspects of systems and capability development.

  Provide technical leadership for advancing new technology development.

  Become the technical Subject Matter Expert and single-point-of-contact for all things related to AD/ADAS/Parking HMI

  Develop talent and expertise within the HMI systems team.

  Qualifications

  5+ years of systems engineering experience with at least 3+ years of developing HMI for AD/ADAS or other automotive applications.

  Proven experience to lead multi-functional teams across domains.

  Deep knowledge of Systems Engineering principles and a proven track record of successful implementation.

  Experience in automotive product release and specification process.

  Demonstrated proficiency in writing and comprehending software and hardware requirements and interfaces.

  Understanding of major automotive vehicle systems such as AD/ADAS systems, chassis and vehicle dynamics, automotive networks, propulsion, body controls, infotainment (HMI) etc.

  High level of oral and written communication skills.

  Travel to engineering sites and supplier offices as required.
