Pay: $50,000 - $60,000 Base + Commission + Bonus + company vehicle
The perfect fit for this role should have at least 3 years of experience in lawn care spraying or at least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role. They should also be someone with strong values, a great work ethic, and an open, positive attitude.
Responsibilities:
Assess the quality of customer service and create procedures to minimize customer complaints.Handle customer service concerns diplomatically.Mentor and develop Lawn Care Technicians.Collaborate with other managers to find ways to reduce customer cancellations.Evaluate performance, make salary recommendations, and apply disciplinary actions in line with company policies.Supervise a team of technicians to achieve service objectives.Foster a positive work environment, actively promoting teamwork.Review associates' work for accuracy, adherence to best practices, and compliance with company policies.Reinforce work procedures and provide instructions, both orally and in writing.Streamline workflow by facilitating information exchange between customers and field technicians.Develop work schedules and assign and oversee duties to service personnel for efficiency.Compile composite reports from individual subordinates' reports.Conduct regular management meetings, both daily and weekly.Ensure a safe workplace through continuous training and adherence to company policies.Education and Experience Requirements:
A minimum of five (3) years of relevant experience in lawn/horticulture/agronomy/lawn care services is necessary, or an equivalent blend of education and experience.A minimum of three (2) years of supervisory management experience is essential.Certificates, licenses, and registrations mandated by federal and state laws are required.Category 24 Pesticides Licenses are a plus and should be obtained promptly if not already possessed.A valid, permanent driver's license from the state of residence and a clean driving record in accordance with company standards are obligatory.Current liability auto insurance is required.The ability to obtain and maintain a valid DOT medical card is necessary.You must be at least 21 years old by the date of hire.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Great verbal and written communication skills.Proficiency in communicating effectively with individuals at all levels of leadership and with frontline staff.Strong leadership abilities, training, mentoring, and effective time management skills.Competence with Google Apps or similar technologies.Benefits:
