　　What we're looking for

　　A Junior Software Engineer who is a recent graduate in the fields of Computer Science/Engineering or Electronics with an interest in exploring the world of embedded analytics (EA) and real-time monitoring of electronic systems. Our system-wide silicon monitoring, bring-up and debug infrastructure helps silicon engineering teams ensure their products do what they were designed to do, safely and securely, from day one of launch. You will be working in a team that develops software on Linux platforms and on the cloud to harness the data from the embedded monitors to debug and optimize system performance, detect anomalies, and provide actionable insights to system operators.

　　You should be able to work across hardware-software boundaries and interface with hardware engineers and data scientists to develop, maintain and deploy software to orchestrate data acquisition from a multitude of silicon monitors.

　　What you'll be doing

　　• Developing software to configure and acquire data from the Embedded Analytics monitors to gather debug data or performance metrics, silicon health, security markers, and more. This involves the development of C++ programs, integration with IDEs, software debug and profiling tools, development of User Interfaces with Qt, Javascript, etc., and other software engineering tasks. It may also involve integration with AI/ML tools for data analytics, visualization, knowledge extraction and other methods to improve system debug and performance optimization.

　　• C or C++ programming on Linux platforms

　　• Ability to work across multiple programming languages for application development

　　• Scripting and extension languages such as Python

　　• Graphical and command line user interface development

　　Nice to have

　　• Object-oriented programming with C+• A knowledge of modern CPU architectures such as ARM or RISC-V

　　• Knowledge of embedded systems

　　• Use of software management and CI tools such as Jenkins CI or Gitlab CI systems

　　• Understanding of FPGA hardware

　　• Knowledge and use of test frameworks such as GoogleTest
