Kforce has a client in Leawood, KS that is seeking an IT Service and Support Specialist responsible for supporting, maintaining, and troubleshooting all end-user facing technology. The supported technologies include Windows 10 and Windows 11 computers, Apple phones, tablets, and laptops, computer peripherals, conference room/UC technology, telephony, proprietary financial software, and more. Support is performed via telephone, instant messaging, and in-person. Customer Service:
Establish and maintain working relationships with all internal customers, co-workers, contractors, and vendors
Communicate clearly and consistently with all support customers regarding their support request and technology questions
Accurately identify and act on support requests utilizing an established ticketing system
Achieve established support service level agreements
Software:
Fluency with supporting Microsoft technologies, including Windows 10/11, Office 365 suite, and Teams
Willingness and ability to become proficient in supporting industry-specific proprietary software
Familiarity with Active Directory (on premises and/or Azure) for user account management
Hardware:
Comfortable troubleshooting/supporting Dell laptops, docks, and desktops, and various PC peripherals
Familiarity with Apple iPhones and iPads
Communication Skills:
Provide effective and timely communication with internal customers via instant messaging, e-mail, a ticketing system, or in-person
Identify the best communication method for the task at hand, considering the preferences of the customer and their availability
Document all communications and solutions within the ticketing system and/or knowledge base
Candidates qualifying for this position will have similar experience along with the skills and abilities to perform the duties mentioned
Any relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
