Vision: Be the trusted partner for Siemens customs and export control department in Germany regarding related IT solutions, services, projects and platforms.

Mission: Provide business specific, mission critical IT solutions, services and platforms for customs and export control processes by managing the respective services and projects. A focal point is to accelerate and foster the digitalization of customs and export control processes based on an end-2-end optimization approach to generate tangible value for the businesses.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

As IT Digitalization Expert for Customs and export control you are responsible for the offered services, projects, solutions and platforms and for the development of the respective portfolio, which includes also the related projects in this area

You will be responsible to bring the customs and export control processes to a next level of digitalization with the target to optimize the processes end-2-end

You are encouraged to chip in to the SHERPA X process design and harmonization (Sherpa X is a business transformation project within Siemens to harmonize all end-2-end processes based on the new SAP S/4HANA environment). You will be responsible for design and IT implementation of the customs export control processes with SAP GTS

You are a key contact and trusted partner for the governance departments in Germany for customs and export control as well as for business entities and regions across the globe

Use your skills to move the world forward.

You have a university degree in computer science, business administration

Long-standing IT project and service management expertise based on an agile approach and an agile way of working

You have a solid background and many years of experience in end-2-end customs and export control processes with SAP GTS

You also have a know-how in neighboring areas (e.g. logistics, supply chain management, tax, finance) and the respective processes (L2C, R2R, P2P)

Excellent process and data flow know-how with understanding the underlying data models and data sources relevant for customs and export control (e.g. SAP S/4 HANA modules FI, SD, MM, SAP MDG, SAP EWM, SAP TMS)

Analytical thinking and design of current (and with SHERPA X future proven analytical solutions)

Strong digitalization background (e.g., in automation, AI, make value out of data)

Well-grounded experience in requirements engineering, IT solution design and implementation combined with a strong customer orientation

Fluent English skills are essential; German proficiency is a plus
