Job Description Perform all work in a safe mannerfollowing all safety policies, processes, and procedures Work closelywith manufacturing, customer service, and the materials manager toresolve all issues Create purchase order requisitions and obtainapprovals Complete transactions in SAP and ERP Effectively communicatewith internal and external customers, staff, and management Coordinatebetween operations, customer service, external and suppliersParticipates in team projects for continuous improvement, Inventoryaccuracy improvements, 5s organization and other plant initiativesMaintain cycle count program, including monitoring performance andreporting on accuracy trends Perform month end closing reportsCoordinate schedule changes and expedites, as required Managing thepurchasing of raw material & production supplies to support productionplan. Continuously monitor and manage usage, on-hand inventory levels toinclude work-in-progress inventory and finished goods inventory levelsas well as projects deliveries to insure the timely filling orders andthe maintenance of safety stock. Reports discrepancies and initiatescorrective actions as needed. Maintains accuracy in the raw materialbackorder lists and sees that proper reaction to shortage is made on atimely basis Monitor slow-moving inventory, identify distressedinventory, and make recommendations. Identify and support or lead costsaving projects Perform other duties as requested or assigned Reviewcustomer forecasts with raw material inventory The understanding ofconsignment, floor stock, and vendor managed inventory QualificationsAssociate Degree 3+ years? experience in a variety of computer-basedsystems and programs including Microsoft Office and Outlook, ERP (Visuala plus), PowerPoint and Excel required Demonstrated written and verbalskills Problem solving skills with the ability to think quickly andeffectively resolve issues The ability to handle multiple projectssimultaneously Time management skills and ability to meet deadlinesHighly organized and ability to multi-task in a busy setting.Flexibility to work required hours to complete tasks and specialprojects Must be able to work as a team player, under productionpressure with changing priorities Ensure good working relationships withkey suppliers
