We are seeking a highly motivated Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer to join a small team responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of all layers of IAM program. You will be at the forefront of all IAM requests for LexisNexis Reed Technology.
We are searching for an individual with strong technical leadership to execute security processes with minimal guidance and 5+ years of security experience. The BISO will be responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring traditional and cloud information and network security, focusing on network security, vulnerability assessment, risk assessments and secure software development lifecycle best practices by reviewing existing tools, applications and processes to help strengthen and optimize current capabilities, as well as identify gaps or technical solutions to further enhance cybersecurity effectiveness. Must be a US citizen with ability to prove citizenship.
Responsibilities:
Management and administration of daily activities and requests across the organization, such as new starters, transfers, leavers and providing access to numerous corporate systems or environments in accordance with company policies and procedures
Administer, support and maintain authentication and access management environments
Develop and maintain technical solutions for the ongoing improvement of IAM, as well as automates and orchestrates repetitive or manual tasks to promote self-service
Collaborate with Cloud Security Architect, Architects and Engineering to develop system architecture and design standards/guidelines for new identity management services and privileged access management solutions
Perform work in alignment with standard methodologies for identity management, access controls and credential integration for multi-factor authentication
Identify and recommend process improvements. Collaborate with key stakeholders to implement process improvements for identity management, access controls, credentialing and multi-factor authentication
Collaborating with teams across Information Security and wider technology to define solution requirements
Able to produce detailed documentation and process flows around IAM
Identify, analyse and resolve design/ process weaknesses, prioritizing troubleshooting efforts and pinpointing resolutions to complex issues surrounding access to systems
Maintains an understanding of all current and emerging IAM technologies, open system standards and management technologies as they relate to the support of our organization

Technical Skills:
5+ years’ of experience working with NIST and ISO security standards and frameworks
Hands-on technical experience in systems integration of IAM solutions such as the Microsoft Identity Platform (Active Directory and Azure Active Directory). Experience migrating IAM functions from legacy products to Microsoft, Okta, etc., a plus
Experience designing and implementing zero-trust solutions, a plus
Excellent knowledge of enterprise application architectures, cloud architectures and related security principles, especially related to identity and access management concepts and technology
Excellent understanding of information security concepts including authentication, authorization and access control
Strong understanding of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and X.509 standards, including operation Certificate Authorities such as Microsoft Windows Certificate Services, OCSP, SCVP, etc.
Strong understanding of various scripting/programming technologies such as Bash, PowerShell, Python, SQL, JavaScript, etc. for developing automation scripts, tools and reports
Experience with Windows, Linux/Unix server administration and troubleshooting skills
Excellent problem-solving experience involving leading teams in identifying, researching and coordinating the resources necessary to effectively troubleshoot/diagnose complex project issues
Excellent verbal, written and technical skills. Able to take highly technical information and present it to varied audiences in a manner easily understood
Certification required (at least one of the following): CISSP, SANS, GIAC (or related), CEH and/or other security risk assessment certification
