　　Pay: $21.45 per hour

　　Position name: Maintenance Technician - HVAC

　　Facility name: Otero County Prison Facility

　　Location: 10 McGregor Range Road, Chaparral, New Mexico 88081

　　Work schedule: Full time, 8-hour day shift

　　Job Responsibilities: Duties involving HVAC equipment and recovery, general maintenance of facility grounds and repairs of equipment and buildings, assisting with technical trades such as plumbing, electrical, painting and carpentry.

　　Essential functions:

　　Performs maintenance and repair of electrical systems, heating, ventilating, and air conditioning. Recommend and contact assistance when on-sight repair is not possible.

　　Perform preventive maintenance checks of building and equipment.

　　Monitor tool inventory.

　　Perform routine scheduled checks of air conditioning and heating systems.

　　Promote on-call support in emergency situations or equipment breakdowns.

　　Supervise and utilize qualified inmate labor.

　　Education and Experience Requirements:

　　High school diploma or equivalent

　　Technical training and general knowledge of repair/maintenance of air conditioning and heaters units, plus three (3) years related experience and HVAC certification license in the State of Texas or New Mexico is required.

　　Valid drivers license in the State of Texas or New Mexico with an acceptable driving record required unless waived by management.
