ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITES AND DUTIES:Provide expertise in performing journeyman-level rough and finish carpentrydutiesReview project plan and blueprintsEstimate time, material, equipment and supplies neededTrack production rates of self-performDevelops work schedules and crew assignmentsEnter daily time in Exaktime (Swinerton timekeeping system) for crewDevelop and manage JHA's, ensure crews are working safely and properly trainedMaintains records of operationsMonitor inventories and request supplies and equipmentEnsure work areas are properly maintainedUtilize a proactive approach to anticipate and resolve potential issuesConsult with clients and contractors in a professional mannerEnsure carpentry jobs are completed in due time and ensure work in performedaccording to Swinerton standardsDiscipline, mentor and monitoring performance of employeesCoordinate and maintain crew safety, equipment and tool trainingComplete other responsibilities as assigned
SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:Must hold a current Journeyman Carpenter license/certificate (if requiredby the applicable state, city or county)Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Foreman carpenter or similar roleConsiderable knowledge of: rough and finish carpentry; tools, equipmentmaterials and safety practices of carpentry work; building techniques of newand remodel construction; masonry, concrete, steel, pre-cast and woodconstructDisplay hand-to-eye coordination, mathematical skills, strength,stamina, and be detailed orientatedDisplay basic computer skillsLift and/or pull 75lbs., climb ladders, work off ladders, man lifts orother equipment,Ability to maintain a standing position for extended periods of time, fullysquat, bend or kneel while wearing a tool beltCapable of working in a variety of weather conditionsUphold Swinerton Core Values of Integrity, Leadership, Passion andExcellence at all timesAdhere to all OSHA and Swinerton safety practices and proceduresSupport activities at all Swinerton job-sites as directed
