Summary About the Position: This position is located at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. Responsibilities Prepare, classify, evaluate, and develop standardized position descriptions to support DHA Public Health Enterprise initiatives. Serve as an advisor and consultant in the position classification program including position management considerations to program managers, management officials, leadership, and supervisors. Responsible for responding to issues involving projects and/or problems that require guidance, collaboration, and advice and/or policy interpretation; planning and conducting special projects or studies to identify and resolve problems or issues. Determine effective, efficient, and economical organization and position structures, position management policies and practices. Responsible for providing management advisory services and support affecting highly complex, frequently changing organizations with a wide variety of difficult personnel actions that are often sensitive and extremely complex in nature. Advise managers and supervisors on staffing requirements, pay setting strategies, and problems in highly complex assigned organizations. Provide AcqDemo Position Requirements Document (PRD) advisory services to various organizations within the agency. Provide recommendations for reorganization, expansion, consolidation of functions, establishment of trainee level and intermediate positions.
