Position Summary
Primary responsibilities include provide tools, resources, and environments that support a safe and efficient workforce. Proactively analyze tasks for potential ergonomic risk factors, perform biomechanical assessments and lead injury prevention activities across the Distribution Center (DC) network. The Senior Injury Prevention Manager will champion safety, ergonomic training, and support the company’s Behavior Based Safety Programs.
The Senior Injury Prevention Manager will be expected to proactively analyze tasks for potential ergonomic risk factors, perform biomechanical assessments and assist with company injury prevention activities. Minimize the risk of ergonomic injury to colleagues through awareness, education, and early intervention training. Dive deep and learn each job function within the DC network and understand the body ergonomic and physical demands of each task.
Be actively involved with improvements to the standard work process, evaluating potential poor ergonomic conditions through change management processes. Evaluate trends and provide analysis of all soft tissues injuries and develop actions plans to mitigate risk. Frequent engagements with both colleagues and operational leaders Support network in implementation and management of Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and Job Rotation policies as needed.
In addition, monitoring and managing environmental, health and safety regulatory compliance for all CVS Health facilities. The HSE Senior Injury Prevention Manager will be responsible for communications with regulatory agencies and will develop regulatory strategies specific to agency requirements. The HSE Senior Injury Prevention Manager will partner and collaborate with corporate HSE and Legal team. This position will interact with business partners to address compliance needs. This position will also independently research regulatory requirements, identify necessary changes to regulatory compliance programs, and proactively initiate steps to roll out changes associated with new or updated regulations and address compliance trends. The HSE Senior Injury Prevention Manager will utilize project management skills to initiate, develop, and drive compliance related projects to ensure completion. This senior manager will have in-depth knowledge of major federal safety & environmental regulations and their applicability to sites within each business unit. As needed, this position will support safety & environmental programs by providing field assistance to all CVS Health facilities, including independently conducting regulatory compliance training.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$79,200.00 - $174,200.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
