The company is seeking to hire an HR Generalist who is excited to get involved with all aspects of the employee life cycle; from recruiting to comp & benefits to performance management to employee engagement.. This position is full-time, Monday thru Friday from 8 AM – 5 PM. Role Responsibilities Recruitment and Talent Acquisition: • Partner with VP of HR and Marketing team to maximize employment brand. • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and onboarding. • Ensure efficient, effective and engaging experience for all candidates. • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and ensure timely fulfillment of open positions. Onboarding and Employee Experience: • Facilitate new hire’s successful integration into the organization • Develop and administer onboarding plans and scheduling including communications, logistics and training HR Administration: • Maintain and update human resource documents such as job descriptions, handbook, and other policies as appropriate. • Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all employees. • Respond to various information requests from governmental agencies in a timely manner. • Act as an internal expert for HR technologies such as HRIS, ATS, payroll, etc. Payroll Administration: • Efficiently and accurately manage all aspects of the payroll process, including adjustments, deductions and all relative reconciliation. • Ensure compliance with tax obligations, social security and other statutory requirements. • Prepare and submit all internal and external reporting requirements. Performance Management: • Support the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development planning. • Provide guidance to managers and employees on performance-related matters. • Assist in identifying training and development opportunities for employees. Employee Relations: • Work with leaders and employees to improve work relationships, increase productivity, enhance employee engagement and drive retention. • Investigate and address employee relations issues, working towards resolution and promoting a positive workplace culture. • Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to identify areas for improvement. Benefits Administration: • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks. • Facilitate open enrollment processes and communicate benefits information to employees. • Address benefits-related inquiries and resolve issues in collaboration with benefits providers. HR Compliance: • Stay informed about relevant labor laws and regulations to ensure company compliance. • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures, keeping them up-to-date with legal requirements. • Conduct periodic audits to ensure adherence to HR policies. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. • SHRM or HRCI certification preferred. • Minimum 3-5 proven experience as an HR Generalist in a fast-paced environment. • Strong understanding of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations. • Highly organized, detail-oriented, excellent time management and able to effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, high volume and evolving work environment. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Strong analytical and problem solving skills. • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. • Proficient in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
