We have an exciting, permanent opportunity for a Validation Technician to join the Quality team at PCI Pharma!
Main purpose of role:
To support the effective management of the validation of processes / equipment / utilities / cleaning / computer systems across all PCI UK sites.
Main responsibilities:
Validation operations are closely linked to all key stakeholder departments across all PCI UK sites so good interaction with these departments is essential.
Generate and assist in the completion of qualification and validation protocols to enable the compliant and efficient introduction of new or changed products, processes, or equipment.
Reporting in summary the findings of any validation.
Assigning corrective actions and all types of validation documents via the Quality Management System.
Assist with the revalidation programme to ensure full life cycle management of processes / equipment / utilities / cleaning / computer systems.
Assist with the project management of new jobs introduced requiring Validation. Attend project meetings held relating to the specific job being introduced.
Discuss and advise as required with other PCI UK departments detail relating to the validation of the new job.
Support and attend audits by clients of the validation function.
Administer the validation equipment register and revalidation schedule.
Consider through validation activities opportunities for improving process and or procedures ensuring continuous improvement.
Assist in the execution of Technical Assessments and Risk Management e.g FMEA.
To perform specific projects as assigned by the Validation Manager
Required
Direct experience with validation or knowledge and understanding of validation processes
IT literate
Ability to work well in busy conditions and to operate effectively within a team
Desirable
Demonstrable experience within packaging/processing.
Maths and English GCSE A-C (or equivalent)
Completed course in validation activities for equipment, processes, and facilities.
Continuous Improvement Green belt standard or equivalent
Achieved at least Level 3 Qualifications or equivalent.
