Overview: The Laborer - Lead is responsible for performing mainly physical laborer duties to support the organization's Facilities Maintenance (FM) functions. This individual will lead/supervise crew(s) of 2-6 Laborers in Essential Functions' performance stated below.
Role Requirements Experience Requirement: Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a related field. Minimum of one (1) year supervisory or crew lead experience.
Additional Requirements: Ability to understand oral and/or written instructions. Must be able to work overtime and be on call as required in support of facility maintenance operations. Must possess a valid driver's license in the state they reside, have a satisfactory driving record, and be insurable under the corporate policy. Must meet eligibility requirements for work assignment on the specified contract(s). Must be able to pass organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings, as appropriate.
Physical Requirements: May travel to and from various locations and buildings throughout the year and in various weather conditions. Most work will take place outdoors. Will work with motorized and/or electrical equipment as it relates to grounds & lawn maintenance. Will be required to follow the Emergency Operations Work Assignment per customer requirements. Schedules are subject to change. Will require working early morning, mid-morning, afternoon, and/or evening hours and weekends and holidays depending on the need of the grounds, time of day, and season of the year. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to bend, crouch, walk, climb stairs and ladders, reach above head, sit (to drive), and lift up to 40 pounds. Must be able to assist in lifting equipment and moving furniture when necessary and will occasionally be required to lift or move up to 75 pounds.
