Position Overview
The Coca-Cola's Summer Internship program is an 8-10 week experience at our headquarters in Atlanta, GA. The Global Policy & Sustainability Intern will be part of our Global Policy & Sustainability team within the Global Public Affairs, Communications, and Sustainability function and be responsible for assisting with projects related to the company's Water and Agriculture initiatives.
Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities
Assist the team in developing and submitting sustainability related disclosures, with a focus on Water and Agriculture, across various reporting platforms, such as CDP.
Support the coordination and execution of tasks such as writing of reports and memos, research on legislative and regulatory issues, government outreach, stakeholder engagement and other projects as needed.
Help prepare for internal and external meetings, events, workshops, and conferences including drafting briefing documents to ensure our teams are prepared.
Communicate deadlines, events, updates, and other internship-related information to associates using internal communication platform and other tools.
Functional Skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with ability to communicate complex issues.
Detail oriented.
Ability to work cross functionally with a geographically spread, culturally diverse team, stakeholders and partners.
Passionate about sustainability issues with an aptitude to learn quickly.
Strong MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Education Requirements
Currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Political Science, Communications, Sustainability or related discipline with a final graduation date no earlier than December 2024.The Coca-Cola Company is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workforce.
