When it comes to parking, we're the experts!The DetailsPay Rate: $22 - 24 / hourLocation: The Port of EverettHours: Full-Time (40 hours per week): Variable five days a week, 8-hour days, weekends required.The Spirit of the Position:A LAZ Flex Ambassador Supervisor plays a significant role in the success of the company. They are both the front line of our operations and support on our backend as well. This position is intended for an individual who is hard working, excited to learn, and hungry for a career.What Will I Do?This position has been developed to assist current parking management in meeting the needs of the parking program at LAZ's Port of Everett location. As a Flex Ambassador Supervisor, you will be trained to perform various roles. Some days you will operate the LPR vehicle, some days you will work in the office, and some days you will be assisting with event parking.Principal Job DutiesAssist in managing staff, including, but not limited to, encouraging and coaching office and field staff in performing their duties.Jump in to support the team in their tasks or duties when a need arises.Answer phone calls and emails in a prompt, accurate, and respectful manner.Greet and assist customers when they arrive at the office.Accomplish all daily admin tasks including running financial reports, responding to citation appeals, activating parkers off waiting lists, and any other additional tasks that arise.Drive the LPR car throughout the parking lots at the Port of Everett, using the incorporated license plate recognition software.Issue parking citations to vehicles when not in compliance with the parking policy.Assist in setting up event signage.Use your personal vehicle (mileage reimbursed) to drive to the Port of Everett's lots and perform various duties when necessary.Physically walk through parking lots and check vehicles for payments/permits.Assist in maintaining payboxes including replacing printer paper, rebooting, printing reports, reprogramming, and troubleshooting.EducationHigh School Diploma or GED required.Associate degree or equivalent work experience desired.ExperiencePrior experience in the parking industry is preferred.Previous supervisory or management experience is preferred.Valid driver's license required and must have been held the last two years in good standing.Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment with high customer expectations.Knowledge of Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point and General Microsoft Office Applications.Skills:Must be able to clearly communicate verbally in the English language.Must be able to read and write proficiently in the English language.Must be able to type 45+ words per minute.Must present a friendly, outgoing attitude.Must be able and willing to follow verbal and written instructions.Must have a valid Driver's License for two or more years, and a clean driving record.Must have reliable vehicle and willingness to use it for job duties periodically (mileage reimbursed).Weekly hours for position, possible mandatory additional hours during events.Ability to seek improvement and create an environment of idea sharing and creative problem solving.Capable of handling employee conflict, following grievance procedures, mediating and conflict resolution.Excellent customer service skills and abilities.Never Ever Give Up AttitudeAbility to be approachable and facilitate coaching conversations with employees.Ability to encourage open expression of ideas and opinions.Excellent teambuilding
