Amazon is seeking a highly analytical and resourceful Finance Manager to support its middle-mile air transportation network. In this role you will partner with the WW Real Estate, Engineering, and Capital Planning teams to plan and execute investment in Air infrastructure. The role requires an individual who is willing to work in an ambiguous environment and make a big impact while having a passion for data-based decision making. You will need to communicate clearly and succinctly with finance and business leaders to influence strategic and tactical decisions.Key job responsibilities- Work closely with business partners, stakeholders, and other finance teams across transportation, fulfillment, supply chain, and technology teams to reduce cost while improving customer experience- Build forecasting models and operating plans to support network growth initiatives and challenge cost assumptions- Extracting, combining, and summarizing data to analyze the financial impact of new initiatives, and effectively communicating key findings to senior leadership to influence and support tactical and strategic business decisions- Developing metrics and reports to provide controllership to new programsWe are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:Bellevue, WA, USA | Dallas, TX, USA | Erlanger, KY, USA | Nashville, TN, USA- BA or BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, Computer Science)- 5+ years of finance experience, or Master's degree and 3+ years of finance experience- 5+ years of identifying and implementing opportunities to resolve finance issues, improve, scale, or simplify finance tools, technology, and processes across teams and organizations experience- 4+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience- MBA, or CPA- Knowledge of SQL/ETL- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)- Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of resultsOur compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $81,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
