JOB REQUIREMENTS: Primary Responsibility: Responsible for allocatingorders, releasing work to warehouse floor, balancing workflow, andensuring inbound and outbound truck turn times are within acceptablelevels. Essential Functions: Resolve order product shortages Manageorder cuts and communicate to customers Release work to the work queuein a manner that ensures maximum levels of interleaving, productivity,and carrier turn times Prioritize individual Lift Truck Operator (LTO)tasks along with Dock Supervisors Ensure dock office is utilizinginbound and outbound dock optimization functionality for each receiptand order Run labor reports and review with Dock Supervisors and OfficeManager Review/update base priorities weekly to reduce manual prioritychanges in the work queue Review/update LTO home work zone assignmentsalong with Operations Manager Review/Update product code velocity zoneassignments along with Operations Manager Review/update optimal staticand dynamic pick locations along with Operations Manager Activelyparticipate in continuous improvement projects and safety programsContinually evaluate effectiveness of systems and recommend changeswhere appropriate Troubleshoot and correct systems problems Train alllevels of users on relevant systems May resolve product order shortages.May manage order cuts and communicate to customers. Follow attendancepolicy, show up for work on time and ready to work assigned shift.
