About Finance Analyst / EVMS/ Lvl 2 / Grand Prairie, TX

  Description: Tactical Strike Missiles Finance Team is looking for a finance analyst that is a self-motivated person with a strong education in business, finance or accounting, who is interested in learning and applying all aspects of defense contract budgeting, earned value measurement,

  forecasting, analysis and reporting skills in a fast-paced

  environment. This position will support a myriad of program finance functions and will include the following responsibilities:

  Long-Range Planning (LRP) for business area. Assists in managing financial metrics for business area. Effectively communicates the financial performance to senior management. Provide support to the Contract Status Reviews (CSRs) process to include presentation of

  financial data to Sr. Management. Assists in preparation of budgets and schedules for contract work and performs and/or assists in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis. Ensures adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation of expenditure projections, and submitting timely requests for

  additional funding to the government. Performs other related duties and assignments as required.

  Basic Qualifications:

  - Bachelor's degree

  - Finance experience / background

  - MS Office experience (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

  Desired Skills:

  - Bachelor's degree focus in Finance/Business related field

  - Three or more years of related experience with a bachelor's degree or 1 or more years with a master's

  - Ability to function with a variety of inputs

  - Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  - Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)

  - Self-starter, organization skills and shows initiative by seeking ways to improve processes and data analysis

  - Ability to build strong interdependent business relationships with key customers

  -Ability to present financial data to Program Management, customer and Senior Finance Leadership

  Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

  Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

  Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
