Job Title: Field Service EngineerJob Description

The Mechatronics Field Service Engineer will help assess, troubleshoot, fix, and reprogram Tire Machines at customer sites around the world. As a part of a Global Field Service team of around 80 engineers, you will travel internationally 150-200 days a year. The recommended travel schedule includes being in the field for 4-6 weeks at a time with 2 weeks off right after.

Responsibilities

Conduct machine inspections using Maintenance Management tools and report the machine's status.

Advise the service coordinator about possible upgrades and improvements to our Maintenance Management Tools.

Maintain equipment and train customers on proper maintenance procedures.

Provide training to customers using provided documentation.

Gain hands-on experience by helping build and test new equipment at our factory.

Install equipment/upgrades in the field to stay updated with new developments.

Visit customers onsite if remote service fails.

Relevant Engineering Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Science, Automation, or Controls (preferred)

At least 3 years of experience in industrial automation

Experience with PLCs (Allen Bradley and/or Siemens), servo systems, and HMIs

Good organizational skills

Willingness to travel internationally 150 to 200 days a year

You will work in tire factories, plants, and offices. This role offers the ability to travel and see the world, hands-on experience with state-of-the-art machines, and unlimited overtime opportunities.
