WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
The Electrical Engineer Co-Op will provide test engineering support for Notes Engineering group.
You will gain exposure to:
Designing, developing, testing, deploying and maintaining new software programs.
Working directly with Design Engineers throughout the design cycle to understand complex systems and identify potential risks to design and security.
Developing and sustaining automation frameworks for efficient troubleshooting/analysis of products and software, especially for complex technical designs.
Actively participating in the project management process by providing accurate estimates, monitoring progress, and ensuring that deliverables are met.
Participating in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems.
Conducting root-cause analysis and debugging communication protocols using automated programs.
Migrating legacy tools to new software programs.
Contributing to the continuous improvement of the software development process using Agile.
Understanding and improving schemas for database technologies (tables, rewriting stored procedures, latency, performance, etc.).
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar engineering disciplines
Familiarity with Object Oriented Programming languages such as C#/Java/Python
Grasp of web development/automation technologies such as Node.js, React.js, Selenium, HTML and CSS
Understanding of Database technologies such as SQL, MongoDB
Dev-Ops: Familiarity with AWS cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins and CI/CD is a plus
