The community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth Riverview
· AdventHealth is expanding our medical expertise, innovation, and state-of-the-art technology to southern Hillsborough County through a brand-new hospital in Riverview, which is scheduled to open in 2024.
· The new AdventHealth Riverview hospital will include 82 beds at time of opening with space to expand to 202 beds in the future.
· This $250 million project in Riverview also includes a 100,000 square foot, four-story Medical Office Building that will provide community members convenient access to expert care.
· AdventHealth Riverview will offer a wide range of health care services which includes emergency, cardiovascular, digestive, urology, orthopedic and women’s care.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
Demonstrates twenty four hour responsibility and accountability for operations, quality of services, and all aspects of safety and maintenance programs within the institution. •Ensures provision of quality services by maintaining appropriate resources, staffing levels, competency of staff, maintenance/ and performance of equipment, instrumentation calibration, physical space, and training and education of staff. •Demonstrates responsibility and accountability for all aspects of safety and maintenance programs of the institution. Ensures safe, well-maintained environment of care assuring the safety and well-being of patients, family, physicians, staff, and visitors throughout organization. •Manages and monitors all aspects of maintenance (preventive, corrective and scheduled) and construction projects to ensure quality standards are met. •Demonstrates current knowledge and competency in regulatory compliance and ensures active organizational wide ongoing educational programs for self and staff
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
•Proficient in Microsoft Office
•Exceptional organizational skill required.
•Ability to have flexible work hours based on job assignment completion.
•Needs to be extremely discreet due to access to sensitive items.
•Needs to be self-motivated.
•Knowledge of ordering parts and supplies related to building maintenance and repairs.
•Ability to prioritize assignments.
•Working knowledge of regulatory requirements from DNV, AHCA, OSHA, NFPA and other health care related
agencies.
•Ability to work with multiple disciplinary teams
•Able to lead, mentor and coach

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
4 years Leadership Experience
Bachelors or 4 years of experience in health care engineering OR (If Applicable): Any combination of education, training or experience that provides the knowledge, skills and abilities required to successfully accomplish the assigned duties and responsibilities of the position.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
•Bachelor's Degree
•4 years of management experience in a healthcare environment.
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:
· Valid Florida driver's license
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION PREFERRED:
OSHA's 40 hour Hazardous Waste and Operation (HAZWOPER)
OSHA's 8 hour General Industry Certification
