Part-time, 0.75 FTE day shift position with weekend and holiday requirements. Minimum requirements for hours worked are two 12hr shifts one week and three 12hr shifts the next, after a full time (36hrs/week) training period for 8-10 weeks. **Must be available all day, Mon-Fri, during a one-week pre-training period for hospital onboarding.

　　Position Summary:

　　The Registered Nurse works in a collaborative and cooperative relationship with other members of the health care team, plans and implements patient and family education and is responsible for assessing the needs and initiating appropriate intervention for patients.

　　Minimum Qualifications:

　　Montana Licensure (Registered Nurse)

　　American Heart Association BLS

　　Competence in and a willingness and ability to practice modified primary nursing

　　Essential Job Functions:

　　Provides leadership in the professional practice setting and the profession

　　Two hours of verifiable trauma-related education annually

　　Stroke Competency:

　　Complies with hospital policies, procedures, protocols, and guidelines related to care for patients with hyper acute and acute stroke

　　Participates in two hours of initial cerebrovascular disease (stoke) education within one year of hire

　　Participates in one hour annually of cerebrovascular disease (stroke) education

　　Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
