Job Designation
A key part of the Executive Assistant role is to build strong partnerships, relationships and networks both in and outside Parker Meggitt. Therefore, you should be comfortable dealing with high status individuals. You will support the GM/SVP and the Executive Leadership Team, in a fast-paced and often dynamic environment where no two days are the same. You will work well under pressure while dealing with complex challenges, be customer focused, and display the highest level of integrity and professionalism.
Job Core Responsibilities
• Act as the first point of contact for the SVP/GM and Executive Team by taking responsibility for the administration of the organization on day-to-day basis as well as day-to-day office coordination and general administrative duties
• Perform a variety of highly responsible, confidential, and complex administrative duties onsite for the SVP/GM and Executive Leadership Team and interact with internal customers of all levels; therefore, duties must be performed in a manner that is professional and customer focused
• Draft and review written communications from SVP/GM
• Prepare and review executive-level presentations
• Ensure information flow from the SVP/GM to the wider team is done in a timely and accurate manner
• Technical knowledge and proficiency using a variety of software programs, including Microsoft Office, SAP, Concur
• Coordinate site visits and leadership meetings
• Recommend improvements to administrative processes
• Travel planning and booking using the Concur online booking tool
• Performs all other related duties as assigned
Job Specifications
Education: High School Diploma/GED; some college coursework or business vocational school education preferred
Years' Experience: Minimum of 5 years successful experience as an Executive Assistant with increasing responsibility required
Skills:
• Microsoft Office – proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Previous experience required in supporting a senior leader / executive leader
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Superior oral and written communication skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities, projects and leadership requests
• Flexible, problem-solver who is proactive and works autonomously
• Must be able to maintain professionalism and positive service attitude at all times
