Trinity Health at Home has an immediate opening for an EPIC Credential Trainer (Region 3). This is a full-time position supporting all THAH Agencies.
The Trainer will participate on a training team supporting the home care and hospice platform of Epic, the Trinity Health system-wide Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
Responsibilities include: providing scripted training to large groups, and to conduct engaging and effective training sessions to diverse audiences including management, staff, nurses, therapists, ancillary support staff, physicians, mid-level providers (NP & PA) and others.
Requirements include: Bachelor's degree in healthcare or information technology and a minimum of one to three (1-3) years of related experience or equivalent experience. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word) is preferred. Ability to attend and successfully complete the 6-week Trainer Credentialing Program.
Requirements for successful completion include: a passing grade of 80% or higher on the competency exam and successfully presenting a training topic. Prior training experience and expertise is strongly desired; a passion for the education of adults; clinical experience strongly preferred. Knowledge of Trinity Health At Home (THAH) clinical and operational workflows, as well as policy and procedures is beneficial as well as considerable patience and the ability to adapt to a variety of challenging classroom situations and personalities.
