Job Description:
At Regions, the Enterprise Solutions Architecture Manager directs the program to develop, maintain, and leverage key Enterprise Architecture (EA) principles across the organization which may include enterprise-wide Core initiatives, Security Architecture (SA), and/or cloud strategy and transformation.
Primary Responsibilities
Leads the creation or evolution of the EA function, including the coordination of an appropriately balanced pursuit of enterprise information systems, data, technical, and solution architecture viewpoints
Understands, advocates, and supports the enterprise's business and IT strategies
Leads the identification and analysis of enterprise business drivers to derive enterprise business, information, technical, and solution architecture requirements
Analyzes industry, technology, and market trends to determine their potential impacts on the enterprise
Analyzes the current business and IT environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommends solutions for improvement
Leads the development of an implementation plan for EA based on business requirements and IT strategies
Oversees EA implementation, ongoing EA refinement activities, and the documentation of all EA design and analysis work
Consults with program/project teams to fit solutions to architecture across all viewpoints
Standardizes infrastructure and application architecture and frameworks for on-premises and in cloud
Promotes the EA process, outcomes, and results to the organization, including the enterprise's IT and business leaders
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
This position is incentive eligible.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Analysis, or a related field
Six (6) years of experience in two or more IT disciplines in a heterogeneous environment such as technical architecture, security architecture, solution architecture, network management, application development, middleware design, information analysis, database management, or operations management
Preferences
Supervisory or managerial experience
Experience with Cloud deployment
Demonstrated track record of leading key initiatives toward the successful attainment of challenging goals
Knowledge of application development processes, DevOps, Agile, Information Security Architecture Principals, Secure Coding Practices, and business re-engineering principles and processes
Skills and Competencies
Excellent planning and organizational skills
Knowledge of all components of a holistic EA
Knowledge of and experience with management (theory and practice)
Knowledge of business re-engineering principles and processes
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Strong leadership and mentoring skills
This position must be within a reasonable driving distance to a Branch, Consumer Operations, or Professional Office Building with the primary locations being for Birmingham, AL, Nashville, TN, Atlanta, GA, or Charlotte, NC.

Compensation Details
Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
