Details:An Engines Component Test Integrator job in Kent, WA is currently available at Belcan. This is a full-time on-site direct position with benefits. To be considered, you will need a Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering or a similar discipline. In this job, you will be part of a team of diverse mechanical, electrical, and software engineers and technicians. You will be responsible for supporting test campaigns on mechanical flight hardware by keeping and maintaining a test schedule, while following up with test engineers during testing. You will also be responsible to identify and execute opportunities for operational improvements. This position requires experience in working with mechanical components, preferably including fluids/pneumatics and hydraulic systems.Engines Component Test Integrator job duties include:* Author and maintain detailed test schedules, assist with test readiness reviews and pre-test briefings, and verify the success of the test campaigns- report on a weekly basis* Assist in identifying test requirements with operations engineers to incorporate tests into the appropriate test stands and coordinate those requirements to technicians to execute the procedures* Follow up with the test fixtures, test support equipment, and data acquisition systems that are necessary to execute the testing scope and work with tooling and equipment designers as necessary to design and procure this hardware* Drive efficiency gains in testing activities to increase testing throughput while maintaining a high standard of quality and prioritizing the safety of your teammates above all else* Interact with and lead technicians, quality engineers, responsible engineers, and lab management personnel to generate engineering solutions to complex verification/test problemsJob Qualifications:* BS or MS degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering or a similar discipline* 3 -10 years" experience with mechanical component testing, preferably fluids/pneumatics and hydraulic systems* Understanding of the utilization of test instrumentation, equipment, fixturing/tooling, and control components: thermocouples, RTDs, strain gauges, accelerometers, flow meters, load cells, relays, and solenoid valves* The ability to understand test plans, procedures, and work instructions* Experience as a leader with the ability to drive hardware to test and maintain schedule(s)* Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills regarding technical subjects* Due to the nature of the work, you must be U.S. CitizenDesired Skills:* Highly enthusiastic, self-starter that is team oriented and has excellent written and verbal communication skills* Must be comfortable working with and presenting complex technical information cross-functionally in a team environment as well as individually* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and product specifications is highly desirable* Willing to work extended shifts as needed to support testing schedule.* Experience with Environmental Testing (proof, leak, vibration, thermal, cryogenic, pyro-shock, etc.) per SMC-S-016, MIL-STD-1540 or MIL-STD-810 (DO-160 a plus)* Basic understanding of fluid components such as valves, regulators, actuators, servo-valves, seals, and fittings* Familiarity with precision clean hardware and systems* Experience with flight and safety-critical hardware* Proficiency configuring and troubleshooting test equipment/setups* Proficient in using Windchill or similar Data Management SystemCompensation:We provide a competitive pay and benefits package.
