Job Description:
The New College Graduate Test Engineer will develop new product test solutions for analog, and mixed-signal products within the Mixed Signal and Linear Division (MSLD). The candidate will work in a team environment interacting with design, architecture, applications, marketing and product engineering.
The successful candidate will develop capabilities to perform the following duties:Create device test plansDesign test load boards and probe boards (schematic creation)Write software for automated testers to create validation, characterization, and production probe and final test programs.Troubleshoot and validate production test hardware.Sustain and improve test programs to improve yield and cost of test for high volume production.Hours must be flexible to accommodate communication with global team members.
Requirements/Qualifications:
BSEE/BSEET degree (Electrical or Computer Engineering).Must possess excellent communication skills and ability to work in a global multi-functional team environment.Must have a good knowledge of semiconductor device physics.Possess good programming skills. Software experience with C++ and Microsoft Visual Basic is preferred.Knowledge of analog, digital, and mixed signal circuit theory and circuit analysis.Knowledge of communication protocols (SPI, etc.) is preferred.Must have a good understanding of basic statistical concepts.Familiarity using various bench test equipment, DVMs, oscilloscopes, etc.Work with offshore engineering to maintain efficient, effective manufacturing (overseas travel is a possibility).
