  MORTENSON SUMMARY Mortenson is currently seeking a Field Operations Administrative Assistant in our Energy Storage Group with the ability to interact with a variety of staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment, remaining flexible, resourceful, proactive, and efficient with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. The Field Operations Administrative Assistant is responsible for the onboarding, training, and records associated with craft team members. Provides overall training and quality support to the geographic office and project teams. The base compensation range for this role is $26.59/hr.-$35.91/hr. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skill, and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Locations:United States, CA RESPONSIBILITIES Manage Craft Onboarding Deliver field orientation to craft new hires Ensure that new hire paperwork is completed correctly and timely Accurately maintain applicant log Maintain a record of Good Faith Efforts associated with hiring Assist in the management of Craft Training Proactively project and schedule needed classes to maintain a 100% complete training log Reserve venues, rooms, equipment, and catering Coordinate enrollment of team members and track any pre-work Prepare, copy, assemble, and distribute materials Set up and clean up event training rooms Maintain records of training events, post to MortU if required Manage set up and recordkeeping of Field employment Assist with the projection of needed team members Identify and pre-screen potential team members for FOM Assist new team members in navigating Mortenson and identifying resources Maintain confidential management files for FOM Resolve payroll issues Order all phones for field leaders and monitor bills Order new IT accounts for Superintendents and Foreman Assist FOM in Safety and Quality programming Assist with planning and managing logistics for all field, foreman, and superintendent meetings Attend all Safety Leadership Team meetings Send out updates on the Quality and Safety program as needed Create presentations for use in programs All other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of four years experience in an administrative support role Minimum of two years experience working in the construction industry or related industry Knowledge of general safety protocol in the construction industry Superior attention to detail and accuracy Excellent planning and organization skills Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills Proven positive and professional attitude and strong customer service skills Excellent project management, leadership, and general business skills Problem-solving skills and ability to balance multiple priorities Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information Strong facilitation, speaking, and presentation skills Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word BENEFITS Medical and prescription drug plans - a choice between two affordable HSA-eligible medical plans that include vision coverage, expert medical second opinion, tobacco cessation program, and fertility benefits Dental plan 401k retirement plan with generous matching and profit-sharing contributions Paid time off, holidays, bereavement, parental leave, and other paid leaves Life, AD&D, business travel accident and disability insurance Employee assistance program online mental health tool and concierge Tuition reimbursement Adoption Assistance Gym Membership Discount Program Identity Theft Protection Visa sponsorship is not offered for this position.
