ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
The Electrical Engineer will support development, cybersecurity, specification, and test of satellite communications equipment. This position is based in Tobyhanna Army Depot, PA.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with the Integrated Product Team (IPT) to determine requirements, develop specifications, and ensure the proper test/evaluation of communications systems.May lead, review, approve, or develop plans/procedures/reports for tests.Perform and document technical analysis on proposed systems and products.Support Failure and Test Review Board (FRB/TRB) activitiesSupport Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) providing technical analysis, review/creation of cyber documentation, and recommendations.Coordinate with vendors to ensure their proposed products meet requirements.Review vendor proposals and provide technical feedback.Participate in the final check-out, deployment, and cyber sustainment of communications systems.Review and comment on product/project documentationQUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in a science, technology engineering, or mathematics field.Desirable to have experience in Hardware and Software test and/or development.Desirable to have experience communications systems.Desirable to have Security+ CE or an entry level understanding of information assurance and cybersecurity.You have strong organization, analytical, problem solving, time management and communications skills and are detailed oriented. This includes, but is not limited to, the ability to effectively coordinate multiple programs, multitask in team environment, and work with limited supervision.Experience working with Microsoft Office is required (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel)SECURITY CLEARANCE
