　　Calling on Optics Manufacturing professionals- We have a brand new opening for an Operator at a state of the art facility in Rochester! 　　work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM

　　Responsibilities

　　Prepare and operate edging machines to perform and accurately cut lenses

　　Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading the work ticket and understanding the edge type and circumference parameters

　　Prepare test runs to check if the machines produce outputs according to specifications and fitment requirements.

　　Perform tool replacement and calibrations as required or requested

　　Perform daily maintenance as outlined by the Maintenance team that is deemed as operator level maintenance.

　　Supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result

　　Perform hourly finished product audits and compare them with job ticket specifications to ensure output quality

　　Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality including hourly cleaning procedures.
