Early Childhood Speech Language Pathologist

　　We have an immediate, full-time, Speech-Language Pathologist opening for the school year with our school partners in Dolton. This position is in a highly supportive and community-focused early childhood center that will provide excellent resources to related staff and their students. In this position, the SLP will collaborate with anther SLP in the building to provide speech services to a mixed caseload of students. It doesn’t get better than this!

　　Responsibilities:

　　Completes evaluations to assess speech needs and areas of growth for early childhood students

　　Provide direct and indirect speech and language services to identified students at the preschool level

　　Assist case manager with developing student Individualized Education Plan (IEP)

　　Collaborate with classroom teachers and other staff to meet the students' speech and/or language needs

　　Observe students and collect data to measure progress and adjust treatment plans

　　Facilitate staff and community training in the area of communication disorders

　　Other duties as assigned.

　　Qualifications of the Special Education Teacher:

　　Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology

　　Professional Educator License (PEL) eligible in the state of Illinois

　　Previous experience in a K-12 setting

　　Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology License
