　　Amazon Lab126 is an inventive research and development company that designs and engineers high-profile consumer electronics like the Kindle family of products. Amazon Lab126 began in 2004 as a subsidiary of Amazon.com, Inc. Since then, we have worked to produce innovative devices like our best-selling e-readers and tablets, Fire TV, and Echo products. What will you help us create?

　　As an Engineering Intern you will engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary staff to conceive and design innovative consumer products. You will work closely with an internal team and outside partners to drive key aspects of product definition, execution and test. You must be responsive, flexible and able to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment.

　　Key job responsibilities

　　Validate display hardware and debug issues.

　　Develop automated display test tools.

　　Develop and prototype display modules.

　　New display technology research.

　　Travel to support engineering builds.

　　A day in the life

　　As part of a project team you will work alongside experienced optical, mechanical and EE engineers, supporting the display design, debug, validation and optimization of our products. You will be involved in projects from concept through production, gaining exposure to the complete product design lifecycle. You will also support engineering builds gaining experience with high volume manufacturing.

　　Basic Qualifications

　　Working towards Master degree in Electrical Engineering, optics, physics or related fields.

　　Familiar with optical and EE measurement equipment.

　　Knowledge of display technology and Optics.

　　More than 1 year of practical lab experience.

　　Availability to complete a 3-month full time internship during summer holiday.

　　Preferred Qualifications

　　Strong EE hands-on and analytical skills.

　　Analog and digital skills with embedded systems experience.

　　Schematic design and debug skills.

　　Familiar with C/C++ or Matlab

　　Excellent oral and written communication skills (Chinese and English)
