  Role Description: We are seeking a passionate education expert to lead our school content storytelling and strategy development, as it pertains to School content on Homes.com. You will be responsible for developing a philosophy that will inform our product as well as our storytelling approach, to truly showcase schools within the Homes.com platform. Your vision will drive our content team of writers, photographers/videographers and video editors. This is a creative role which will sit within our Creative Content Design team.

  This role is based at our expanding innovative global campus in Richmond, Virginia.

  As the Creative Director of Schools at Homes.com, you will report directly to the SVP, Creative Content Design.

  RESPONSIBILITIES

  Develop the Homes.com School philosophy.

  Lead the creative vision for original School content on Homes.com.

  Develop and evolve the storytelling priorities in a dynamic and fast paced environment.

  Work with product managers to aid in the development and evolution of Homes.com School page.

  Lead the CSR efforts as they pertain to Schools.

  Develop content from our CSR initiatives.

  Foster partnerships with non-profit organizations and government agencies that align with our corporate culture, goals, and objectives.

  Set a high creative bar and execute work that delivers against those objectives.

  Translate business objectives into creative strategies that inform content production.

  Drive the achievement of creative goals and strategic solutions to meet product objectives, working closely with product partners and your team.

  Foster a collaborative culture to achieve a better creative and business result.

  BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  Bachelor’s degree in education or related fields from an accredited, not-for-profit University or College

  10+ years of creative management experience across a combination of agency and in-house environments

  Extensive experience working with writers, photographers, video editors and other artists

  Must be a clear strategic thinker and creative problem solver

  Demonstrated portfolio showcasing leadership and proven success in visual storytelling

  PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  Experience directing and effectively critiquing high-volume creative work from internal producers and agencies

  Proficiency with MS Office applications including Excel and PowerPoint

  Strong presentation skills, with the ability to present to and influence Senior Executives

  Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills and comfort working in an entrepreneurial environment

  A strong relationship builder with an ability to facilitate ideation, collaboration, and decision-making
