Description Our reputable client is seeking an interim VP/Director of Finance to join the company.Join our team for a contract opportunity where you will be providing financial leadership in managing budgets, overseeing all accounting functions, and conducting forecast analysis. In addition, as a member of the Executive Team, the VP/Director of Finance will participate in the strategic planning process and will maintain and report on key financial metrics.
Major responsibilities
Supervise the annual/quarterly/monthly budgeting and forecasting processes
Work with the executive team to develop operational and long-term budgets and forecasts for all aspects of the organization and then monitor and report on performance against those budgets
Generate and maintain effective professional relationships with the company's bankers, auditors, government agencies, and other professional organizations
Develop operating and financial metrics, analyze results and trends to create impactful insights, report results to executive leadership and key stakeholders, and improve forecasting and modeling accuracy
Regularly report on key financial metrics for internal and board stakeholders
Manage adherence to the company's accounting policies and procedures
Create detailed business unit projections, highlight risks/opportunities, and oversee the preparation of relevant materials Requirements - CPA designation or MBA highly preferred
Strong written and verbal skills to interact clearly and effectively in a fast-changing environment
Must be detail oriented and maintain a high level of accuracy
Bachelor or Business Administration degree with a specialization in Finance or Accounting
Minimum of 8 years' experience at an executive level role
High level of integrity, confidentially, and accountability
Must be skilled in analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution
