Driverse (A DRB Company) is a growing and vibrant software company serving the automotive shop space. With its legacy software products, Driverse has nearly 40 years of experience serving automotive shop verticals. Now, Driverse is looking for a director of engineering to drive a successful build and rollout of the next-generation SaaS product.
As a member of Driverse’s leadership team, the Director of Engineering will report to the president of Driverse and will lead an organization of in-house and outsourced engineering team members.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Coach and transform the current team into a best-in-class engineering organization, with a focus on building next-level leaders that can sustain Driverse’s aggressive growth plans
Create a winning culture of engaged A-players that are aligned, empowered, accountable, and laser focused on results
Provide leadership and direction to the entire engineering organization, including development, Devops, and QA
Adhere to SAFE Agile practices, ensuring engineering org provides rapid, consistent, and high-quality releases for a new and evolving cloud product
Manage offshore contract development organization in a hybrid dev framework
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of software products and solutions.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and partners.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Experienced leader who can leverage knowledge of building SaaS solutions to help Driverse avoid architectural, people, and process pitfalls
Experienced (7+ years) in building large-scale B2B SaaS applications
Experienced (5+ years) in software engineering leadership roles
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Skill Sets:
Able to concisely and effectively communicate with customers and internal teams
A strategic thinker who can serve on the leadership team, balancing multiple priorities while guiding the strategic growth of Driverse
Experienced with Microsoft tech stack (particularly .Net and Azure SQL), as well as knowledge of Blazor, Telerik, and React Native
Experience working with and managing virtual teams
The base compensation range for this position is $147,000 to $200,000 per annum. Your actual base salary will be determined based upon a number of factors which may include relevant experience, skills, location (labor market data), credentials (education, certifications), and internal equity.
