As a Director of Accounts, you will develop enduring client relationships and be committed to driving their business forward by developing strategic recommendations that execute against clients' online objectives.

  Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:

  Ensures smooth operations between associates and other departments

  Manage media planning and buying process (including RFPs, plan presentation, and execution) for large campaigns. Directly interface with clients at this level and serve as client lead to craft and implement plans.

  Works closely with the sales team, tech team, and clients to best identify new opportunities and revenue streams

  Serves as a client-facing expert on DSPolitical’s advanced ad products 

  Assists with the strategic orientation of DSPolitical’s buying practices and operations in the general market

  Ability to handle multiple assignments with an effective resolution of conflicting priorities

  Proven success renewing and upselling business in a client-focused role

  Excellent at relationship building and interpersonal skills

  Serve as team lead, mentoring and motivating a team of cross-functional channel experts to execute strategy and analyze results

  Act as a terminal escalation point for all operational issues regarding campaign performance and fulfillment

  Work with auxiliary teams to enhance product and analytical capabilities to meet customized client needs

  Help educate internal teams on product development and evolution through structured education programs

  Work to establish yourself, as an DSPolitical representative, within demand marketplace as a thought leader and collaborator by engaging actively with external parties

  Maintain confidentiality and professionalism 

  Minimum Qualifications & Skill Requirements:

  5+ years of experience in a client-facing position (e.g. account management, client management, or business development).

  Strong background in online advertising with agency experience in programmatic advertising preferred.

  Significant experience running social media advertising campaigns for both direct response and persuasion. 

  Significant experience in digital advertising, strategy, and buying, ideally in the political space.

  High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, along with a demonstrated ability to troubleshoot issues and offer and implement solutions.

  Relevant project management experience and a demonstrated ability to manage staff are required. 

  Experience managing remote staff and those in multi-site organizations is strongly preferred.

  Must have outstanding communication skills — written, verbal and listening — and be comfortable in facilitating discussions, conflict resolution, communicating insights and presenting to internal and client stakeholders.

  DSPolitical is proud to offer the following:

  Annual base salary range of $90,000 - $100,000 depending upon factors including, but not limited to, experience, skill level, education, and location.

  Office Hours

  This position is remote friendly. We work on a hybrid basis at our office locations with many team members working entirely from home. Work hours are consistently 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., Monday - Friday, with the expectation that evening and weekend work will be required as necessary.
