Job Description

　　This client is looking for a Digital Development Manager to join their team in Katy, Tx. This person will manage a team of developers, collaborate with business, engineering, and support teams to resolve operational issues, define common UI pattern libraries with collaboration from design team, oversee the user center design principles and processes, and participate in planning processes and drive code quality initiatives. They will serve as the development representative to stakeholders outside of the team, oversee the UI development team as they maintain and enhance current UI architecture to improve usability, performance, and scalability. Additionally, they will drive software development activities to meet schedules and timelines, research problems discovered by QA or product support, conduct unit testing and integration testing for functionality, and research new technology or development tools to remain informed of current technology. They will work with documentation and internal teams, including Product and Project Management, Design, Business Analysis, and Quality Assurance to deliver high-quality, complete software releases, and develop a thorough understanding of Academys policies, procedures and safety rules. This person will report onsite to their Katy, Tx. location 5 days/week.

　　Skills and Requirements

　　5+ years of software development experience in react framework

　　1-2 years of prior management experience

　　Experience with Scrum and Agile methodologies

　　Experience standardizing application governance and delivery to standardize feature deployments and software upgrades

　　Hands-on experience with the whole web stack, including protocols and web server optimization techniques

　　Proven track record demonstrating collaboration with UX researchers and designers, marketers, merchandisers, product managers and front-end developer

　　Expertise in web applications and programming languages including HTML, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery and APIs

　　Experience with PHP and/or JAVA - 3+ years IT experience in the retail industry preferred

　　Experience with Ajax, XML, XSLT a plus null
