If this description speaks to you, continue reading about the opportunity of Dietitian. This is a part-time 20-24 hours per week Monday-Friday position at St. John’s Home with a concentration in Rehab.
Position Summary: The Dietitian coordinates clinical nutrition care for designated residents as part of an interdisciplinary care team. The Dietitian helps Residents balance nutrition needs due to specific medical conditions with food preferences to achieve agreed upon goals and provides high quality service in a collaborative team effort that is resident-focused. Responsibilities include:
Responsible for malnutrition screening, nutritional assessments, and monitoring of assigned residents.
Collaborate with Medical Providers, Nursing, Rehab Therapists, and other Clinical Support Team Members to facilitate appropriate nutritional care and care planning on a daily basis.
Interact with residents, their families, and/or their representatives to develop a nutrition plan of care.
Provide individualized nutrition counseling as needed.
Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings, family meetings and other assigned committees.
Help with other duties as needed that support the Clinical Support Team to fulfill St John’s mission vision and values.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Food and Nutrition or Dietetics required.
Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or RD eligible required.
Ability to interact with residents and care for their needs.
Willingness to embrace and exemplify St. John’s Brand Characteristics.

Pay
Commensurate with experience: $27.00-$40.00 hourly equivalent.
