Job Description
Your Team
The Development Manager is directly involved in building our master planned communities, where we consider all the factors that contribute to an amazing quality of life for residents. We focus on design principles that create a thriving community and promote a healthy lifestyle for everyone.
In this role, you will be responsible for the land development process including production planning, detailed design and management, regulatory approvals, and construction oversight. The Development Manager is responsible for cost accounting and controls for their respective projects.
Your Key Deliverables
Provide oversight to consultants for planning, design, and construction delivery to meet annual production targets
Contract management and cost control
Responsible for monitoring overall site during active construction and marketing stages. Including but not limited to; production execution, safety, site conditions, appearance and customer experience
Maintain and foster open and knowledgeable communication with consultants, contractors and community residents
Represent Brookfield Residental and the land development team with key stakeholders
Must Haves
A diploma or degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Planning, or Business
3-5 years’ experience in land development
Proficient in project management, budgeting, cash forecast and cost control
Strong relationship building, negotiation, and problem solving skills
Proficient computer skills
Effective communication skills
Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
Valid Driver’s License required
