What you’ll do:
Accountable for the safety of our employees, customers, contractors, and site visitors
Manage and support the depot team members to ensure daily workload activities are met in line with planning schedules whilst prioritizing customer needs
Support Service Centre Manager with leadership activities involving recruitment, orientation, personal development, resolving concerns, performance improvement and team building (including conducting appraisals, development discussions)
Providing technical support to Aggreko technicians, depot staff and customers
Support the Service Centre Manager to ensure the depot meets our global service centre standards
Drive improvements to deliver world class customer service and best-in-class process efficiency
Utilise tools such as risk reporting and vehicle fleet management systems
Collaborate and build key relationships with operations, sales, customer services and logistics teams
Responsible for the control and supervision of planned maintenance of fleet/depot equipment at the Service Centre to comply with site standards to ensure ensure KPI’s are met
Responsible for ensuring the team maintain equipment standards to deliver a world class customer service and products resulting in measurable high-level customer satisfaction
You’ll have the following skills and experience:
A technical background within an Operational, Engineering or Technical environment.
Educated to NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) in an engineering/mechanical subject
Experience servicing, repairing large engines (generators, HGV, plant equipment, agricultural machinery)
A proven track record of hands on management
Experience managing a cross – functional team
Able to develop stakeholder relationships and work collaboratively with wider teams and functions with a customer focused approach with great communications skills.
Good organisational & coaching skills
Strong leadership, QSHE, and people skills.
Well organised and capable of keeping vehicle to GSCS standards
Good level of PC literacy including basic MS Office applications
A solution focused mindset, able to identify issues, propose solutions, and think beyond your day-to-day remit while maintaining a drive for high standards and time bound results.
