Job Description
The SVP, Business Development is responsible for the agency's new business efforts, partnering with key leaders to deliver on growth opportunities for new clients in the S&SX portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with senior leaders on S&SX new business strategy.
Pre-qualify incoming leads by analyzing market strategies, competition, business challenges and geographical needs/ desires.
Uncover new leads through networking and partnership.
Build and maintain new relationships through prospect and outreach.
Formulate and keep updated "common RFP questions" and pre-vetted answers re: agency network, financials, agency capabilities and talent.
Develop compelling case studies that showcase agency capabilities and results.
Continuous refinement, improvement and sharing of the S&SX pitch process for greater success and efficiency.
Own the delivery of required pitch materials such as presentations, case study examples, etc.
Develop a yearly business development plan for S&SX focused on growing existing business and targeting new business.
Qualifications
Business development experience in an agency environment required, shopper marketing/retail preferred.
12+ years of experience
Superior organization and project management skills.
Ability to engage effectively across many levels and functions within the agency.
Ability to prioritize and multi-task under deadlines.
Self-starter with a willingness to participate as a doer as well as a leader/strategist/big picture thinker.

Compensation Range: $167,000 - $225,000 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
