Credit Quality Analyst Location: Plano, TX /Hybrid Duration: 12 months Description: Manager highlighted she really needs someone with commercial lending experience. 3-5 years plus. Job Description: Identify and escalate quality assurance findings promptly, following appropriate communication channels Clear and concise communication of quality assurance findings, to various management levels Drive execution and prompt follow up on defect remediation; debate of disputes in a professional manner and in accordance with process and procedures Partner with business teams and risk partners to identify upstream process control weaknesses and to propose process changes to enhance the control environment Provide thoughtful leadership and expertise to ensure risk is managed correctly Build global partnerships to facilitate ongoing dialogues Make recommendations for the update of function/LOB control, policy, procedures, and risk/control documentation Assess levels of adherence/execution and identify risk/control improvements in high complexity environments Identify cross-segment / region solutions and collaborate across multiple areas to identify effective and practical controls and risk management techniques Act as an ambassador of the risk culture Experience in loan or other credit-driven operations function Utilize analytical skills and product/technical expertise necessary to execute assigned responsibilities Understand, connect, and communicate control findings to broad strategic business objectives Possess industry knowledge and awareness, challenge the status quo Maintain up-to-date working knowledge of the banks products/services and its operations Outstanding relationship building skills Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills 5+ years of risk management and/or LOB/ECF experience Experience with procedure documentation, enterprise policy and standards, risk control framework Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to drive quality goals while meeting aggressive delivery deadlines Desired skills: Knowledge of Credit products and banking practices with Loan IQ or Stucky experience Knowledge of credit / loan agreement language and pricing structure of documents Understanding of banking of laws, rules, and regulations Audit or compliance background is a plus Intermediate or higher Excel skills Strong communicator Comfortable working with numbers and basic formulas As an equal opportunity employer, ICONMA prides itself on creating an employment environment that supports and encourages the abilities of all persons regardless of race, color, gender, age, sexual orientation, citizenship, or disability.
