Each year approximately 5,000 FRCC students transfer to four-year universitiesand FRCC offers more than 36 career training programs that prepare studentsfor immediate employment and rewarding careers. Who You AreAs the College Information and Visitor Services Coordinator, you play acritical role in creating a positive and welcoming experience for prospectivestudents, current students, community members, and other externalstakeholders. You will work under the direction of the Assistant Director andwill be responsible for establishing positive first impressions for allcustomers interacting with the College Information Center. You will supervisestaff of both the Welcome and Call Centers including full-time, part-timehourly, and student staff. You will also offer event support for thedepartment of Admissions, Recruitment and Orientation including support withregistration, sign-in processes, event set-up and other event specificrequirements. Additionally, you will also assist with inquiry management bymanaging the department email account, responding to prospective studentquestions, and documenting these interactions in the department clientmanagement system.
The College Information and Visitor Services Coordinator contributes to theoverall positive perception of the institution, its commitment to studentsuccess, and its dedication to providing a welcoming and informativeenvironment for all who interact with the College Information Centers.
This position does have the opportunity to work remotely occasionally but doesrequire a strong on-campus presence and will need to travel to all three FRCCcampuses.

SALARY: $53,300 - $55,965/annually

Primary DutiesCollege Information Center Services Operations and Management
Manage the College Information Centers, including the Welcome Centers andCall Centers.Develop and maintain processes and procedures in consultation andcollaboration with appropriate departments and the Assistant Director.Serve as the main contact for the Admissions, Recruitment and Orientationdepartment, answering the college/campus phone lines and personally greetingand referring callers to the appropriate information in a helpful and friendlymanner.Set the tone of positive first impressions for all individuals who interactwith the College Information Centers. This involves creating an atmosphere ofwarmth, approachability, and helpfulness.Provide leadership to the College Information Center team, includingrecruitment, training, supervision, and leadership for the Welcome Centerstaff.Conduct regular meetings to foster a supportive atmosphere conducive topersonal and professional development.Maintain awareness of general policies, procedures, calendar of events, andchanges that may occur within FRCC Enrollment Management & Student Success andother departments that relate to student services as delivered by CollegeInformation Centers.
