  The Opportunity

  ISMG’s Events team is looking for a Content & Communications Marketing Manager who will be responsible for content & copy development across delivery channels & marketing campaigns to strengthen our brand & support overall department goals.

  In collaboration with the Inbound Events Marketing Manager, this position provides expertise & thought leadership in marketing, content strategy, & storytelling to enhance the reputation of our Events & ultimately increase registrations. You’ll contribute to a variety of print, digital, & video projects while planning effective content & communication strategies via all marketing channels to increase brand awareness, communicate ideas, inform customers, & increase engagement.

  As the Content & Communications Marketing Manager, you will own the consistency of voice across channels, translating tone according to what's needed to engage consumers in the respective brand channels, & proactively suggest new strategies to test/ learn to which messages our audiences most respond. We are looking for a skilled and creative copywriter with a passion for storytelling, who is excited to join a high growth, category-defining cybersecurity intelligence & education brand.

  What You'll Be Doing

  Reviewing & auditing current content inventory across sites & marketing campaigns to determine what is relevant, consistent, redundant, or missing for each target audience.

  Collaborating with Inbound Marketing Manager to build & manage an editorial calendar delivering content that aligns with the company’s overall marketing strategy, objectives, & business goals.

  Writing, curating, producing, publishing, & promoting compelling content that amplifies our brand & engages with our unique audiences.

  Creating, editing, & maintaining quality control of communications content including blogs, newsletters, videos, social media content, infographics, landing page text, etc.

  Proofing work to ensure high editorial standards are met across all content outputs.

  Managing all website text & engaging in continuous knowledge transfer with our Sponsor & Speaker Management team to keep our Summit Event pages up-to-date.

  Defining key messages/voice ensuring  content is on brand in terms of style, quality, & tone across all communications.

  Producing content that is SEO friendly & continuously optimizing for increased search engine conversions & promotion.

  Owning the ISMG Connect Community (Slack network for event attendees) & executing strategies to boost member engagement while managing the content calendar.

  Analyzing & measuring the quality/effectiveness of content based on audience growth, engagement, reach, etc. & driving strategies for improvement as necessary.

  What You'll Bring for Success

  Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Communications, or other related fields

  5+ years of experience in Digital Marketing, Content Marketing, &/or Marketing Communications.

  Ability to develop content independently as well as with both internal & external partners.

  Experience developing & executing successful content strategies to align brand voice & drive growth.

  Excellent copywriting & editing skills with an ability to deliver clear, concise information tailored to specific and varied audiences.

  Understanding of SEO concepts & tailoring content for conversions.

  Familiarity with web design, HTML, & WordPress is a plus.
